About

Based on a recommendation from best friend Mostafa Hashem and recommendation from oDesk about self-promoting, I decided to start my own blog, I’ll try to fill it up with all sorts of stuff that I find useful, or takes me a lot of time to discover, and sometimes personal stuff…

There’re very negative dominant trends in the Arab technology markets:

If you know something, keep it for yourself…

and

Take credit for others’ efforts if you can…

I decided to break the darkness, light a candle, spreading the knowledge to the entire world so that everyone can make use of it…

I always believe that only the weak and uncompetitive persons are so defensive about their work, their knowledge resources, and I’m not weak nor uncompetitive…

I believe that I’m quite resourceful, knowledge seeker with good critical thinking skills…

So, nothing comes for free; I’ll benefit from this in two different ways:

  1. Spread the light, and prove that Arabs are not just technology consumers, we can positively contribute to the world…
  2. This blog would be my online presence, more like a portfolio, reflecting my thoughts, my skills…

However, this won’t provide step-by-step guides, this site isn’t for the lazy; looking for someone to tell exactly what to do, on the other hand, I’ll offer ideas, guide lines, and sometimes config files…

  1. Greetings Sameh:

I’m a U.S. citizen and an Electrical Engineer. I just wanted to say that the combination of human nature and technology leads to “if you know something, keep it for yourself” and “take credit for others’ efforts if you can” whether or not you are of Arab descent!

  2. Hi, nice to meet you !

  3. Hi Sameh,

I notice that you haven’t posted in some time, I hope you are still well.

    Best regards,
    A telecom engineer from England
